They can live in temperatures between 20 ° C to 45 ° C, 36 º C being the optimum temperature for development.

The control of legionella is regulated by Royal Decree 865/2003 of the Spanish Ministry of Health. Communities such as Catalonia, Madrid, Extremadura, Valencia and Galicia also have their own Decrees.
